8(a) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Step 1 — Agency defines the scope

Prepare a Statement of Work, develop a cost estimate and funding, and select AET Federal as the 8(a) contractor.

Step 2 — SBA facilitates the offer

The Contracting Officer submits an offer letter to the SBA Business Opportunity Specialist; SBA processes it and the SOW is sent to AET for response.

Step 3 — Agency awards the contract

AET submits a proposal for evaluation and negotiation, and the contract is awarded.
